This is a cultural tour through plantations and trails used by the early settlers, you would visit an old village site and an ancient fort, get to taste and experience the freshness of natural waterfalls with your own guide as a story teller. Take a packed lunch and you could picnic at the base of a natural waterfall. This is a total cultural experience on its own.

VIDAWA RAINFOREST HIKE -Half Day USD 35.00 p.p., Full Day USD 45.00 p.p. plus 12.5% VAT
Half or Full day guided tour through the lush and beautiful Vidawa rainforest. A local guide from Bouma village who will also prepare lunch for you (only on full day trip). If you prefer to take a packed lunch you need to advise the Service Staff the night before. Depart Maravu at 8.00 am. Booking needs to be done two days prior the trip. For cancellations a fee of 25% will be charged to cover preparations expenses (approx. 3 hours half day, 6 hours full day; minimum 2 persons)

A beautiful scenic tour along the Western Coastal road of Taveuni.
Visit the chiefly village of Somosomo, which offers a small selection of shops and local businesses.
Then on to Waiyevo, the Government centre of Taveuni. Here you will find the world famous marker for the 180 Meridian Dateline. Visit the 1907 stone church at Wairiki. To finish your tour off, we have saved the best part till the last, the Waitavala waterslides (approx. 3 hours)
FULL DAY WEST COAST TOUR - USD 55.00 p.p.
Includes all of the above, with the inclusion of the famous Taveuni Blow Holes, a visit to a great snorkelling location where you can enjoy your picnic lunch and even experience first hand a demonstration on Copra making at a local village (approx. 6 hours)
HALF DAY TAVORO WATERFALLS TRIP - USD 35.00 p.p.
An adventurous half day tour to Bouma National Heritage Park. The tour includes great views over the coast and outer islands, some of the best rainforest in Fiji with lots of birds and other wildlife. Tales of the traditional use of forest plants and a swim at the first and the second Bouma Waterfalls are making this a very delightful trip (approx. 3 hours); including entrance fee at Bouma National Heritage Park

This is a delightful outing that takes in Lavena’ s wild and scenic coastline and the lower Wainibau waterfalls. It is an easy walk almost all the way with stunning waterfalls at the end. The full trek is a three hour to and from there (approx. 6 hours); including entrance fee at Bouma National Heritage Park
HALF DAY DES VEOUX PEAK TOUR - USD 55.00 p.p.
Take a hike to the top range of the legendary Mt. Uluiqalau, rising 1,196 metres above sea level is Des Veoux Peak. It offers panoramic views, virgin rainforest and exquisite and abundant birdlife.

Hard-core eco adventure tour, definitely not for the faint hearted ones. Hike up to Lake Tagimaucia through deep & dense jungle, have a bath in the biggest but youngest crater lake in the South Pacific. Take in the views and totally untouched rainforest. AFTERNOON QELENI VILLAGE AND HANDICRAFT TOUR - USD 25.00 p.p.
Traditional Fijian culture can be experienced at Qeleni. It is an eco tourism project in the highlands that offers cultural handicrafts for sale. Mingle with the local villagers and visit a local village school and a traditional A Meke might be performed especially for you (approx. 3 hours)
SUNSET CRUISE - USD 12.50 p.p.
Join Jale & Setoki on a leisurely cruise off Matei Point and along the West Coast and view the spectacular sunset from our outboard fibre open boat. Get as close to nature, with an occasional sighting of dolphins and be serenaded to local tunes and songs. This trip is weather permitting and may be put up on short notice.

Experience the feel of ground fishing either directly off shore from the Resort or out in the reef. You often even get to pick out the fish you want to catch and enjoy the tug of handline fishing. You will need to use a lot of sun protection; minimum of 2 hours

CONFIRMATION
Locals Incorporated T/A Jewel Bubble Divers reservations department will provide a written confirmation, following which the wholesaler can confirm the reservation to the agent. Reservations for diving within 30days will be confirmed with an OPTION of FOUR WORKING DAYS and should the reservation not be confirmed by the wholesaler to the company within that period, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
SPECIALS
Please refer to dive packages. The dive operation will put out specials from time to time.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is recommended that clients take Dive Travel Insurance as offered by their Travel Agents,
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
DEPOSIT: Deposit of 2-tank dive is payable upon confirmation of booking, to hold booking, and 50% is refundable upon cancellation, upon 30days before arrival.
BALANCE
Full payment is to be received 30-days prior to arrival.
Late Bookings: Will be accepted on the basis that there is availability. Full payment to be received immediately thereafter.

RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
The company reserves the right to adjust rates for events beyond the control of the Company; i.e. changes in tax or exchange rates if it is raised/lowered by actions of any Government.
PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITY
Please be advised that the Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any guests’ loss of or damage to personal equipment and property whilst diving or in the Jewel divers location. Alternatively, during participation in any dive activity. Guests are required to follow any directions, which may be given whilst participating in any activity.
The Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the Company’s control such as late arrivals , civil disturbances, fires, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or failure of any machinery or equipment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Outside of 30 days – 50% off 1 days diving (2-Tanks)
Between 30 – 15days : 50% off Balance Paid
Within 14 days of arrival: 100% Cancellation Fee
AMENDMENT OR POSTPONMENT OF AN EXISTING OF BOOKING
Amendment or postponement of an existing booking occur within the cancellation periods, the cancellation fees will NOT BE WAIVED UNLESS THE SPACE IS RESOLD or the Resort agrees to another form of fee structure.
TERMINATION
This agreement may be terminated upon THIRTY (30) DAYS written notice.
In addition, this agreement may be terminated at any time upon the failure of any party to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement.
GOVERNING LAWS
These terms and conditions are covered in all respects by the LAW of the FIJI ISLANDS and any legal action arising under the contract shall be litigate only in the appropriate court having jurisdiction in that country. Fishing in the Northern Territory of Fiji:
Pristine and abundant waters surround your home base of Taveuni, Fiji. All the various prime fishing habitats are here and begin five minutes after launching, opening up to a vastness of virtually virgin fishing grounds in every direction. You can expect to find the Somosomo straits and outlaying areas to be dotted with acres of birds and teeming baitfish, primarily skipjack, small Yellow Fin Tuna, scads, flying fish, mackerel and ballyhoo. Within the day range, anglers can expect to find all types of pelagic and reef fish as the topography is varied with ribbon reefs, pinnacles, islands, channels, outer reefs, straits and sandy flats. Every direction is full of possibilities for an exciting, productive day of fishing. Depending on the anglers preference they can fish for Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi-mahi, Yellow fin, Big Eye Tuna and Albacore. For the reef fisherman who enjoys casting there is Giant Trevally, Blue fin Trevally, Barracuda, Walu, and Dogtooth Tuna.
Your Captain: John Llanes is a 3rd generation fisherman who started fishing over 30 years ago at a very young age. He has fished commercially and professionally and has held his 100 ton Master license for 30 years in Kona. During his Hawaiian career he has won or placed in at least 50 tournaments. He is an all around fisherman for Big Game, light tackle, reef, and shoreline fishing. This rounded experience has given him the opportunity to professionally fish internationally including Australia, Midway, Fiji and his Hawaiian home grounds. He has been featured on televised fishing shows including ESPN as well as fishing books and magazines with the topics ranging from tournament wins, techniques for catching Giant Trevally’s, Marlin, Tuna, Mahi-mahi, Wahoo and deep sea rigging for various Big Game fish and lure making. All of that aside, the bottom line with Capt. John. is fishing is his passion and he is a great choice for the serious fisherman to enjoy a fun day of fishing.
